Ion AmpliSeq™ Custom Solutions: From Gene List to Results
During this live webinar, we will walk you step-by-step from designing custom amplicons to sequencing on the Ion PGM™ System and concluding with a demonstrate how to analyze sequence data. In the first segment of the webinar, we will introduce you to the Ion AmpliSeq™ Designer, a free online tool that allows you to design an optimized ultra-high multiplex PCR assay to amplify gene regions you want to sequence. We will demonstrate how to select targets regions, submit them for design, review the design results, and place an order. Next, we will walk you through the Ion AmpliSeq™ library construction workflow—using custom primer pools, the Ion AmpliSeq™ Library Kit, and your DNA sample. We will review how to prepare templates using the Ion One Touch™ automated prep system and how to process your samples for sequencing on the Ion PGM™ Sequencer. In the last part of the webinar, we will focus on how data is automatically analyzed and the simple results review process. We will review the contents of the BED files produced by Ion AmpliSeq™ Designer, demonstrate how to set up automatic data analysis using Torrent Suite Software, and show you the steps needed to review your results.
